Welcome to my new-ish blog.
I write about a mish-mash of things, whatever takes my fancy, when it takes my fancy. I am working on consistency though… 2022 is my year, right!
I don’t think I’m anyone special, I do love a good story though.
I firmly believe we all have various chapters in our lives that we progress through. We can’t skip pages, each one we turn reveals something new.
I just want to share some of my story without being a slave to providing content or trying to influence anyone about anything.
My opinions are my own and this is my experience, nothing more.
I try to read a lot, usually have music in the background, and I’ll break into spontaneous dance if the song is a good one.
I practice what I preach: kindness and coming from a place of love. I’m a gentle soul for the most part, working on self love, healing, and growth.
I’ve removed a lot of content from over the years giving the website a refresh, keeping things relevant, and building upon new knowledge and experiences
I hope you’ll stay for a bit and enjoy reading me.
Thank you.
Me, 53 years old in 2021
My name is Deb and I write this blog.
I've been writing blogs since 2012 to record events, moments, and thoughts in my life.
Sometimes I write almost diary like and frequently, and other times I'm quite neglectful when life gets in the way. Consistency is a constant work in progress for me which is a really nice way of saying I can be as lazy as when distracted by other things going on in my world.
Writing brings me clarity, quietens my internal chatter, and helps me to focus on what I put my attention to. It also lets me know what my opinion on something is, especially after I read it back to myself.
I will confess to liking a good yarn and I will neither confirm or deny that there may be times when I do embellish; never let the boring facts get in the way of a funny story I say.
I figure as I was going to be writing about stuff anyway why not share it. Those people interested in it will read it, those not interested will pass on by.
I dance, I blog, I sometimes flirt, I laugh often and I listen to music way too loud.
I'm loving life, living it the only way I know how, handling the bumps and bruises that come along with it by putting one foot in front of the other and trying not to be overwhelmed by all the trees in the forest.
Nice to meet you and I hope you enjoy reading me.
