About To Start
I'm about to start Poling. You know pole dancing, pole fitness, or just simply, Pole.
This is the type of pole I'll be sliding off soon
Over the past few months I've been toying with the idea of giving it a go and as luck would have it a shiny new pole studio has opened about a 40-45 minute drive from where I live. Don't let the drive time shock you, I live in a rural area so a drive this long is really just a trip down the road. The schools my kids go to are a 45 minute drive away, so the pole studio isn't that far really.
I thought blogging about my poling adventures would be an interesting way to chronicle my expectations, my experiences and any successes and failures along the way. It will also give me a reference point to see how I change and improve over time.
So, really I'm blogging for my own benefit, to track my changes, and keep a record of my achievements. It's an open blog and if you're curious about it all, want to have a sticky beak, learn along the way with me, or experience it vicariously through me, you're more than welcome to read what I write. If you're super keen you can follow me, subscribe via email, or just duck in every now and then. Feel free to comment, though do try to keep it positive. If you have questions ask, I may know the answer or I may know who to send you on to, to find it.
My first Poling session is this coming Tuesday night. It's called a "Taster Class" and is a brief introduction to see if you like Pole, think it would be suitable for you, and if you wish to continue. I'm so keen I've already signed up for my Level 1 Poling Course - 6 weeks of beginner poling... and I can't wait to start!
