Being forced off the pole to recover from and injury is crap. It's agony, slow, frustrating, boring, and yes it always has it's stuff ups too.
Welcome to my new-ish blog.
I write about a mish-mash of things, whatever takes my fancy, when it takes my fancy. I am working on consistency though… 2022 is my year, right!
I don’t think I’m anyone special, I do love a good story though.
I firmly believe we all have various chapters in our lives that we progress through. We can’t skip pages, each one we turn reveals something new.
I just want to share some of my story without being a slave to providing content or trying to influence anyone about anything.
My opinions are my own and this is my experience, nothing more.
I try to read a lot, usually have music in the background, and I’ll break into spontaneous dance if the song is a good one.
I practice what I preach: kindness and coming from a place of love. I’m a gentle soul for the most part, working on self love, healing, and growth.
I’ve removed a lot of content from over the years giving the website a refresh, keeping things relevant, and building upon new knowledge and experiences
I hope you’ll stay for a bit and enjoy reading me.
Thank you.

A photo can say so much more than words. You don't need abs to pole dance. You need strength, the inner kind, and to be open to the experience pole will give you.
The nerves aren't as bad this time, even though the audience is bigger. Confidence is sloooooowly growing.
The routine is finished, the tricks and spins have been mastered, time to move on up again.
Taking a class not thinking you'll enjoy it, then LOVING IT! Pole dancing really shakes things up mentally too.
I finally ignore my lack of confidence and embarked on different types of casuals. I should do this more often.
If anyone is going to stuff up when organising a pole for their home, it's me. I did a great job of it too ;)
I can't believe how quickly time is going by. Even only attending one class a week the improvements are amazing. Yep, pole dancing is magic!
The time has finally come to show off what we can do.
Our very first performance night. I chose to go as Wonder Woman, everyone else went pink!
Finished my first 6 week pole course, even got a certificate to prove it. Now the excitement and anxiety that comes in the lead up to your first performance.
Its been a week all over the place, studying, practicals, and trying to fit pole in... but I did. An unexpected compliment changed my whole week's outlook. Still no bruising!
The frustration that comes with being a person who rarely bruises. I have no pole kisses to share with my class mates, while they're sharing plenty with me.
